Safeguarding at RTP

Safeguarding Commitment

At Rainbow Trees Pathway the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults is our highest priority. We are fully committed to creating and maintaining a safe, positive environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and protected.

Our safeguarding approach follows the NSPCC’s Safer Recruitment Policy, ensuring that all staff, volunteers, and contractors are carefully vetted before joining our team. This includes thorough background checks, professional references, and robust safeguarding training.

Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which is regularly updated and reviewed. We also provide ongoing safeguarding and child protection training to ensure best practice is upheld at all times.

We believe safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility  and we continually review our policies and procedures to keep our standards strong and our community safe.
