A Community That Understands
When we became parents to children with SEND, we quickly realised how lonely it could feel. The spaces we needed simply didn’t exist places where our children could just be themselves, and where we, as parents and carers, didn’t have to explain or justify their needs.
Rainbow Tree Pathway was born from that experience, with a clear purpose: to create the kind of community we were missing.
SEND & Friends is our term-time group that brings together families with neurodivergent and disabled children in a warm, welcoming environment. It’s more than just a toddler group it’s a space where families at any stage of the SEND journey can come, feel accepted, and connect with others who truly understand.
We offer:
-
A relaxed toddler group for early years
-
A home education group for families choosing or needing to learn outside of school
-
An out-of-school group for children who aren’t currently in education but still need community, fun, and routine
-
A group where parent/carers can come and meet others on the same SEND journey
All of our sessions are inclusive, low-pressure, and run with the needs of both children and parents in mind. We don’t expect anyone to fit a mould just to come as they are.
Throughout the year, we also run seasonal events like Easter egg hunts, pumpkin picking, and Santa visits.
If you’re looking for a space where you and your child are seen, supported, and never judged you’ve found it.
